Change I Need
6 November, 2008Time for some news: I have finally managed to reconstruct my other blog, under my own domain. It is called BLOOSINGS and it is going to be a German / English blog, at least till I find the way to enable the Slovenian č.
The idea is, I want an additional, slow blog, to hold all those ideas cluttering my head: I am going to post a longish text from time to time, no hurry, and if you feel like commenting upon it, you are welcome – I’ll be happy to discuss life, fish and the Universe with you. You can use English or German and, when I have found a way to enable č, also Slovenian, regardless of the post, just like here.
The link to your blog is probably already there and if not, it can be added if you feel like taking part in any of the discussions. I don’t have a counter there and no statistics so I won’t know who visited and who didn’t if you don’t say anything.
So: everyone, welcome!
and: does anyone know how to enable č?
P.S.: This blog is staying where and what it is.
I don’t get it. Why 2 blogs. Why splitting yourself in half? Or multiplying yourself? Why can’t you do it in one place? Long, short, quick, slow, any kind?
You think 2 different groups of ppl are visiting your blog, so you’ll make one for each group.
I don’t think so, it will just cause some unnecessary additional clicking for ppl who visit you.
So, really, I just don’t get it
Aja, well, basically there is nothing to understand here. Let me explain:
when I bought my own domain, I wanted to move this blog there, just like everyone else. BUT: the theme isn’t available any more (and, alas, I cannot live without the moose picture above) and the export file of this blog is too large to import it into the other.
So, for one year, I didn’t know what to do with the other blog, apart from the fact that I love to post German texts and did that more often than here.
So what I thought was: let’s just cancel my own domain and stay here, since I cannot transfer this blog there. But then, what with being this part of the year again, I realised I’d love to write really long pieces and just leave them, unlike now, when I write something every day, because I feel the need to and because I love to communicate on various topics. You know, this blog is often a quickie.
Now, astrology kicks in: when a Saggitarious has to choose between two things, she chooses … both.
So don’t worry. The other blog is going to be a parking lot for complicated stories with enough time to ponder upon, if anyone should feel the need to. Otherwise, it is being written for me.
Saved it in my Google Reader and added it to my “Frequent Stops.” Looking forward to reading your bloosings.
