Irgendwie konnte ich nicht einschlafen.

Und habe versucht, mir ein Bewerbungsgespräch in einer großen Firma vorzustellen, bei dem man mir mein Blutbild zeigt und erklärt, welche Risiken darin zu erkennen sind (der letzte Bewerbungs-Schrei, so zu sagen). Und, während ich auf die frisch gepiekste Wunde ein Wattebäuschen drücke, versuche ich zu erklären, warum ich trotzdem für die Stelle geeignet sei.

Dabei weiß ich nichts über mein verräterisches Blutbild, außer, dass bisher noch kein Arzt sich dazu veranlasst sah, mich darauf anzusprechen. Wieso nehme ich also an, da würde ein riesiges Hindernis drinnen stecken und die feinen Herren vom Konzern würden mich nicht wollen?

Ist ja egal, Hierarchien kommen für mich sowieso nicht in Frage. Bin nicht motiviert genug aka der viele Sozialismus hat mir geschadet.

Polono s Frišnega zanima, kaj smo brali oktobra. Prijavljam torej udeležbo v igri “Stran 54, 5. stavek.

Jake Arnott (The Long Firm) je s svojim londonskim gangsterjem ustvaril zelo zanimivo osrednjo figuro, ki privlači ustrezno zanimive stranske igralce z njihovimi napetimi pripovedmi v prvi osebi. Krasna knjiga, vendar sem prvo poglavje, iz katerega je ta stavek, prebrala le, ker sem zaupala priporočitelju. Prvo poglavje, pripoved Harryjevega ljubimca, se mi je namreč zdelo precej … preprosto. Takšno je z razlogom in literarno legitimacijo, seveda.

No, pa niso, kardinal mora umreti. Res krasen Bookerjev zmagovalec (Hilary Mantel: Wolf Hall), ki ga še berem. Obožujem zgodovinske romane, sploh take z zanimivim stilom pripovedovanja. Na žalost pa se mi zdi, da se v romanu skriva nekaj pravopisnih napak – čeprav: kdo bi vedel, kako so govorili v 16. stoletju? Ja ja, jaz bi morala, vem, ampak: a je tu kakšen anglist, ki se spomni iz predavanj histerične slovnice, ali so v 16. stoletju vsake toliko (torej ne ves čas) rekli “the Lady Anne” in pa “He does not strives”? No, vidite. Jaz tudi ne.

Was guksch, Alder?

Mit bisschen Mühe sollte man es am Ende, wenn alles gesagt und getan wurde, doch noch zustande bringen, mich zu bemitleiden. Wenn ich es schon selbst nicht hinkriege.

Nicht, weil gestern Abend meine Schränke kein passendes Abendessen hergaben und ich plötzlich nur noch von Pizza träumte. Das ist einfach zu lösen, durch eine Internetbestellung.

Aber. Diese Woche war ich allein zu Hause und mein tierischer Wunsch nach einer Gemüsepizza bedeutete eine Bestellung in der nahe gelegenen Großstadt, mit Mindestbestellwert. 21 Teuro in meinem Fall.

Dazu kommt’s, dass ich nur ein Stück Pizza essen wollte, weil ich ja noch arbeiten musste und die ganze Pizza zu groß gewesen wäre. Und dass die gestern mal ausnahmsweise außer Pizza nichts besonders Bestellenswertes hatten, versteht sich von selbst. Alkohol ging gar nicht, Süßigkeiten auch nicht.

Also bestellte ich 2 Pizzas und aß die Hälfte von einer. Der Rest wanderte in den Kühlschrank und soll möglichst heute aufgegessen werden.

Ich schaffe es dennoch nicht, darin die moderne Tragik des kapitalistisch bedingten urbanen Lebens  mit all seiner Einsamkeit zu sehen, sorry. Zum Einen war die Pizza gut und zum Anderen kommt Er heute endlich nach Hause.
