Sorry, Kids. And: I don’t know why you bother at all.

Every year on October 31 I promise myself I’ll be better next year. I will. I promise!

Don’t know why but I always forget there are kids around here who go trick ‘n’ treating on the last of October. See, I am old enough to consider October 31 as the Reformation Day and the World Savings Day, but I regularly forget about Halloween.

Which means kids that come tricking and treating me will always get what we have at home.

Last year? Organic pretzels and dried fruit.😳

This year? Protein Plus Power Bars and wholemeal cookies sans chocolate or anything else.😳

Yes, I am ashamed of myself, as I should be.

I don’t know why they bother coming, though, maybe their parents are happy at what their kids get from the strange auntie with a surprised face?

(Slightly OT: yeah, we eat stuff like self-made buckwheat bread with stuff in our neck of the woods)

  • Tina.

Luckily (for the kids), David’s in charge of the Halloween candy in our house. If it were up to me, they’d either get nothing or super healthy treats. But he likes to give out candy. He even ate his dinner outside on the porch last night because he didn’t want to miss any trick-or-treaters.🙂

Ko sva se nazadnje selila, sva najela selitveni servis in ker so fantje pridno delali, sva si rekla, jim častiva gajbo pijače.

No, saj kriza itak je.😉
