Sign of times

Well … the first bittern has been seen in Wagbach … so it really is autumn now, no doubt about it.

But since it is warmer here, in the tropical Rhine valley, than it was in Southern Finland in July, I tend to be confused. I mean: what do YOU wear in such weather to bring back the bottles and buy your groceries?!?

At least I know what to put on for a hike in the Palatinate … my beloved weatherproof men’s shirt I bought in Savonlinna, of course. I am also already planning some winter hikes: I do not intend to get winter blues this year and since I know the Great Outdoors can prevent them …

On Friday, my next university course starts with an online course on the German Civil Law, the focus being on contracts. I am quite excited about it🙂

Other than that, I’ve been working my head off, again. At least I don’t have time to think about the botched exam this way.

Oh, and: should you be looking for delicious autumn food, do visit Cinnamon and Thyme: We Can’t Stop loving the pumpkin strudel I made today!

And if you’re wondering how one can love Finland so much, there’s a blog for that, too!
