1. You need:
1 cup wholegrain black rice (e.g. Bio Nerone from Piedmont)
2,5 cups water
pinch of salt for cooking
1 spoon pumpkin seed oil
vanilla-chilli salt for seasoning
pyramid salt flakes for decoration/seasoning
2. To cook the rice:
Wash the rice in warm water, put it into a cooking pot and add 2,5 cups of water and a pinch of salt. Let it be for 15 minutes.
Switch on the plate and cook the rice at low heat for 30 minutes or till the water’s gone (whichever comes first).
Put it off the plate, add pumpkin seed oil, vanilla-chilli salt (contains: sea salt, chilli, paprika, vanilla, green jalapeño pepper, ginger, parsley, lavender and vegetable fat) and serve. Sprinkle with salt pyramid flakes (from Cyprus, no less).
